Description of an artifact

Hook-shaped, from a tree root with a burnt hole inside. The ends are edged with brass. On the bottom, there is an engraving and a cap with a snap. The drawing depicts two sitting colonists in national dress facing each other, one with a pipe in his mouth, the other with a glass and a bottle in his hands. Below, the date is inscribed, “1825.”
