Description of an artifact

Consists of a blade and a long handle (snath). It has a long, slightly curved all-metal wide blade with a serrated chine and a pointed toe. By means of one iron ring and a wedge, the blade is put on the snath with its heel. The snath is long, round in cross section. In the middle part of the snath, there is a grip for resting the left hand; it is made of a wooden rod of round cross section bent in half around the snath. The ends of the rod are tied with a twisted bast.
