Description of an artifact
Made of white linen, lace at the edges with a geometric pattern and scalloped edges. The pattern: embroidery with red threads. On one side, there are two pairs of crossed branches, two women with watering cans and brushes in their hands, and the words in Gothic script, “Arbeit ist des Lebens Wierde,”; on another end, there is a monogram ‘A.V.’
