Description of an artifact

Barrel-shaped, oval in cross-section, of longitudinally spaced planks, tied in diameter by four iron hoops; in its upper part, the back wall is 8 cm higher than the front one. The lid consists of two parts in the form of semicircles, back one is immobilized, front one is freely opening. The front cover is slightly concave, with a figured edge at the front, the locking device consists of a hinge 11.8x2 cm with a vertical slot in the lower part and a semicircular bracket driven into the chest wall. The lock is missing.
