Description of an artifact

Made of finely striped blue chintz, lined with fine linen fabric. Single-breasted, short, with a square neckline and deep armholes; on the chest, there is a continuous slit-fastener with buttons and air loops: one mother-of-pearl button on top, two brass buttons below. On front bodices, along the chest line, there is a horizontal inset with vertically laid one-sided small folds. A narrow belt is along the bottom.
