Description of an artifact
Made of fine gray woolen fabric on a black calico lining with an internal central button-based fastening. The silhouette is fitted with darts forming a basque at the bottom. Stand-up collar is made of black satin; set-in sleeves, long and narrow; satin ruffle is along the bottom edge. On the chest, there is a black satin inset, gathered in rows of horizontal puffs, the left edge of the inset forms an asymmetric hook fastening with a front bodice. Along the inset and along the bottom of the sleeves, there are two rows of blue-gold braid.
