Description of an artifact
From the whole piece of white linen thrown over the shoulders. Straight cut, turn-down collar, deep slit (fastening on the loop and button in the front). The armholes are straight, lowered. The sleeves are wide, long; along the rim and at the wrist, the assembly is made of counting folds; the bottom is edged with a narrow inlay. In the shoulders, from the neckline to the sleeve, there are horizontal wedge-shaped inserts that extend the shoulder towards the neckline. Inserts and inlays are embroidered with a vegetation pattern in white threads. On the chest, under the slit, there is an appliqué: a white heart with embroidered pink letters K and F.
